Jeep unveiled a plethora of concept vehicles at the annual 2016 Easter Jeep Safari gathering recently. The Comanche Pickup is built on a Jeep Renegade platform and features a 2.0-liter diesel engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission. Bits and pieces of this vehicle are very recognizable as a Jeep Renegade, but the typical roof is replaced by a cloth drop-top that looks like something out of a military movie, while the five-foot pickup bed, rock rails, steel bumpers and winch prove just what kind of workhorse the lauded little 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine can be.
Not scheduled for production, as there enough room in the portfolio for a smaller pickup truck. What a great way to celebrate the 75th birthday of Jeep.
